Brief:
Bio: The client, Abbey Prestige Homes, approached Peter Dickinson Architects with a site to the rear of the Crawford Arms Pub, with the intentionto utilise the land for a potential residential development. Peter Dickinson Architects conducted the design of each of four dwellings and the associated Master Plan of the site for the submission of a Planning Application. Following the successful achievement of Planning Permission, Peter Dickinson Architects conducted the detailed Building Regulation drawings, necessary prior to the construction of the dwellings. Peter Dickinson Architects resolved all Planning issues regarding access and entrance to the highway, as well as solving neighbouring problems and impact on the surrounding landscape.
The challenge for Peter Dickinson Architects was to utilise the potential of the site and create four large family homes which worked together in terms of a site layout whilst providing ample outside amenity space for each home. Peter Dickinson Architects delivered the solution effectively, achieving Planning Permission and Building Regulation Approval and importantly the satisfaction of the client Abbey Prestige Homes.
Currently Plot 1 has been completed on site, with the others to follow shortly.
The visualisations for the finished dwellings were supplied by Alive Visualisation
